When Ashleigh opened the doors of Avanti Hair & Beauty in 2013 with a dream and a three month old, she never imagined where the journey would take her! Now almost 10 years on Avanti has become her second home where her clients are like family and her family & work life balance has become a reality she once only dreamed of!
You’ll find Ashleigh in the salon every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday but often on her days off too.. When she’s not working, she is with her two children and sometimes Tyson also. She loves exploring every corner of our beautiful state and planning trips to see more of the world around us!
While Ashleigh’s skill set is impressive with many certificates under her belt, she is a true believer that we never stop learning! She is also a lover of social media, content creating & sharing and has also ventured into photography, check out @eunoiacollective on Instagram!
Ashleigh is competent in everything hair (yes even perms) but her passion lies with bridal & event styles, weft extensions or adding some bright colours to your hair!

Katie joined the Avanti team shortly after we relocated to Main South Road in Morphett Vale.
She’s always the first one to open up the salon in the mornings, she’s happy to take charge whenever required and almost never runs late!! Some days we don’t know what we’d do without her!
With her skinfade skills, flawless blondes and her contagious laugh, Katie keeps us all on our toes!
When Katie is not at Avanti she appreciates the finer things in life like fresh sheets, her own company and an early night! She also enjoys sharing her home with her husband and their fur-babies (most of the time).
Katie also loves her early morning routine, her clients that are always on time (or a couple of minutes early) and is available at Avanti from Tuesday to Saturday every week.
If you’re looking for an upstyle Katie will likely pass but if you love an honest opinion, a creative haircut or effortless waves after your flawless colour, you need Katie in your life!
**Katie will be on maternity leave from May 2023 and returning once she is settled into her new life as a family of three.
If you’ve met Tyson you know he’s one of those “Good at everything” kinda guys.. While Tyson doesn’t work in the salon he definitely works on the salon… when he gets to it (no need to remind him every 6 months).
Tyson, Ashleigh and a friend built the current Avanti Salon in 2018 after 5 & a half years at the Taylors Ave location., Everything you see inside of Avanti is because of these three!
Tyson has a sweet tooth and is always happy to try out anyones cooking to give an honest opinion. He can convincingly Photoshop almost anything and has now followed in Ashleigh’s footsteps finding a passion in photography too.
Aside from being Ashleigh’s business partner and amazing father to their 2 children, Tyson also runs other businesses including:
Wardrobe-Fix – his family business fixing sliding door wardrobes, better than new! Skyrack – Web hosting. Codelaide – Web development & graphic design
Despite Tyson’s impeccable skills he did not help with this beautiful website and gives all credit to Ashleigh!
Sam joined the Avanti Team in February 2023 after a short break from hairdressing to start her family and then working in a local cafe that her mum owns.
Sam & her husband have three young boys together and love exploring the outdoors and learning about the big wide world together! She often finds herself in a rabbit hole deep dive and astrology knowledge is like her super power that she loves to share!
While Sam loves a nice clean blonde & a personalised hair cut, her blowdry skills are second to none!!! Seriously, so smooth! She is currently only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays so be sure to book your appointments in advance!
It begins with an idea and then Jessie can make it happen! Jessica came to us as a Makeup Artist/Beauty Therapist and has since become so much more!
When Jess isn’t sculpting the perfect brows or pampering her clients with a SkinJuice facial you can find her along side the team co-creating Reels/ Tiktoks and content for our socials. Jessi has been in the hair & beauty industry for 10+ years and is qualified to do almost all hair services aside from foils & cutting hair.
Jessi loves her baby Olive (Pomeranian), the beach and a good boogie on the dance floor! But never the night before she’s booked for a wedding party!
While Jess is mostly in the salon every Tuesday and Thursday you’ll often see her around the salon and on location for weddings and events because in her not-so-spare time Jess is busy running her own successful wedding and event makeup business!

Our newest Avanti team member Kirin has just begun her journey in the hair & beauty industry after completing a lash qualification early in 2023.
Kirin is our go-to girl for all the thing in the salon that help create our vibrant environment. She is the missing puzzle piece we didn’t know we needed.
Prior to joint our team Kirin & her husband owned a small business themselves along with raising three boys too! So she understands how crazy life can be but also knows how to get it done! She is super passionate about her healthy living journey and loves to share and inspire others looking to make similar changes!
Kirin will be in the salon Tuesday through to Saturday, working on learning all the little things about our industry while helping us run our days more smoothly! This will include greeting all of our gorgeous clients & responding to our socials.
We’re exciting to watch her grow and you can too!
